SunRain Plone Theme

SunRain is a free theme for Plone 4.1, Plone 4.0, and Plone 3 from Quintagroup.

SunRain diazo Plone theme is one of the most flexible free themes from Quintagroup. It comes in two views and allows header image changing for the whole site or certain site sections. See more theme features later on this page.

You are free to change the theme by yourself to whatever you like. Starting from 6.0 version SunRain Plone Theme is distributed as a diazo theme for Plone. Plone Theme SunRain is distributed with GPL license.

SunRain diazo Plone Theme Features

• Two different views: Rain and Sun. Rain is defined as a default view (you can see right now). Sun view can be seen in the image below.  View can be set via Diazo theme settings - Advanced settings tab. In Parameter expressions field change theme=string:rain for theme=string:sun or vice versa.
  
• Replaceable header image for front and inner site pages. To replace default image - add image with topimage shortname into site root or any site section. Recommended image size: 1000*104px.
  
• Subscribe viewlet with 4 actions: Share on Twitter, Share on Facebook, Subscribe to RSS, and Send this. Icon links are managed via ZMI portal_actions/subscribe.
• Customizable slogan via Diazo theme control panel
• Replaceable  logo and editable footer
• Search box: searchSection hidden unless hovering the cursor to the search box area
• Improved thumbnail display view

Additional Features

Features, that require additional packages installation:

• Static Stylish portlet product (quintagroup,.portlet.static) allows changing default static portlet view. Two example portlet styles included: Green Item and Grey Item. Special styling for links in such portlets.
  
• Special styles to display multi-level navigation menu, works with quintagroup.dropdownmenu.
  
• Blogging support require either Products.Quills or blog.star product installation.
  

  

• The theme was tested with Portlet Culumus Plone product that allows adding Tag Cloud.
  

Latest version of SunRain Plone Theme for Plone 4.1 was tested in IE7, IE8, IE9, FF 7.01, Google Chrome, Safari 5.0.3, and Opera 11.10 on Windows platform.
